Tips for finding the best hotels in Imlil

When searching for the best hotels in Imlil, there are several key factors to consider to ensure an unforgettable stay. Start by determining your budget, as Imlil offers a range of accommodations from budget-friendly guesthouses to mid-range lodges. There aren’t a lot of luxury hotels in Imlil but that doesn’t mean you’ll be without your creature comforts.

Next, think about the location; staying close to the main hiking trails or the village centre is wise, particularly if you don’t have a rental car. If you’re relying on public transport, it’s best to stay within walking distance of the bus/grand taxi station or organise a pick-up and drop-off with your Imlil hotel.

At the best hotels in Imlil, you’ll find traveller-friendly facilities, such as onsite restaurants serving breakfast and dinner. Some can also arrange packed lunches that you can take with you on the trails or there are local stores for picking up snacks.

It’s also possible to find Imlil hotels and guesthouses with hammams - perfect for enjoying a therapeutic scrub after a day spent trekking. If you’re visiting in the cooler months, I’d also suggest searching for properties with open fireplaces where you can cosy up in the evenings.

Lastly, I’d recommend reading reviews from previous guests to see whether the Imlil hotel lived up to their expectations. Online reviews from travellers can provide valuable insights into the quality of service and amenities offered, ensuring they align with what you’re after.
